Full job description

Central Alberta Tile One is looking for an experienced and dependable Tile Setter to join our team!

Position Responsibilities

  • Install ceramic, porcelain, stone, and other types of tiles in residential and commercial settings.
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, cutting, leveling, and applying appropriate materials.
  • Read and interpret drawings, layouts, and installation plans.
  • Complete tile installations accurately and to a high standard of workmanship.
  • Grout, seal, and finish tile installations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Safely operate tile saws, grinders, and other installation tools.
  • Work professionally with customers, contractors, and other trades.
  • Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Previous tile-setting experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install tile.
  • Experience with various tile materials and installation methods.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must provide clean drivers abstract.
  • Must provide criminal record check.
  • Ability to lift and move materials and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Strong work ethics, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • Experience with large-format tiles, heated floors, waterproofing systems, or commercial installations is an asset.

Experience:

  • Tile Setting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
