Overview
Otto is looking for a full-time Line Cook for our new Sandwich Shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and all things food related. We take pride in making everything in house and we offer a great learning environment At least 1 year of kitchen experience in a fast paced work setting is essential for this position. We offer full benefits after 6 months of employment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Cook menu items with attention to presentation, taste, and quality
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
- Assist in plating dishes efficiently during busy service hours
- Support the kitchen team in ensuring smooth operations during shifts
- Adhere to all health regulations and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet service goals and uphold restaurant standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
