Coffee & Espresso Equipment Service Technician

Location: Vancouver, BC

Position: Full-Time or Part-time to Full-Time

We are looking for a reliable, mechanically inclined Service Technician to join our growing coffee equipment team. This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial espresso machines, coffee brewers, grinders, and automatic coffee equipment at customer locations throughout the Lower Mainland.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial espresso machines and coffee brewers
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
• Install and commission new coffee equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and water-flow issues
• Service grinders, brewers, and related beverage equipment
• Maintain accurate service records and document work completed
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment issues and repairs
• Maintain service tools, parts, and inventory
• Provide emergency or priority service when required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including proper storage and management of tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
• Demonstrate diligence in tracking and organizing parts inventory to ensure accuracy and efficient service operations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all service and repair jobs, including diagnostics, work performed, parts used, and follow-up requirements.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience servicing espresso machines, coffee equipment, commercial appliances, or similar equipment is an asset
• Comfortable working with electrical components, pumps, valves, boilers, plumbing, and water systems
• Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Professional and customer-service oriented
• Valid BC driver's licence and clean driving record
• Able to work independently and manage service calls efficiently

Previous coffee-equipment experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong technical backgrounds in related fields.

• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately for diagnostics and repairs.
• Skilled in assembly and disassembly of complex machinery with attention to detail for safety and functionality.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
