Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and possess experience in beverage preparation. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail, time management, and food safety are essential. The position involves preparing beverages, handling transactions, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages following established recipes and presentation standards
  • Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling
  • Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
  • Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and customer seating areas
  • Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
  • Follow health and safety guidelines related to food industry standards and food safety regulations

Skills

  • Previous Barista experience is required
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
  • Knowledge of food preparation, serving, and food safety protocols
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers confidently
