We offer guests an unforgettable experience of romance, rejuvenation, nature, and fine local cuisine at our on-site restaurant, The Forager.

This is your opportunity to join a passionate and welcoming team that is proudly showcasing the very best that Newfoundland has to offer — from warm hospitality to pristine accommodations and stunning natural surroundings.

Position Overview:
We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated individuals to join our housekeeping team. As a housekeeper, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the high standard of cleanliness and care our guests have come to expect — and often mention in reviews as “the cleanest accommodations they’ve ever experienced.” You’ll be responsible for helping create the peaceful, spa-like environment that makes Cliffs Edge Retreat such a special place to stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare guest cottages, suites, and lodge rooms to a high standard
  • Replenish amenities and ensure all items are in top condition for each arrival
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas and guest facilities
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly
  • Follow health and safety protocols and company standards
  • Assist with laundry as needed
  • Provide warm, respectful interaction with guests and team members

Qualifications:

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and be on your feet for extended periods
  • Positive attitude and reliable work ethic
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as needed

Why Join Us:

  • Work in a peaceful, inspiring natural setting
  • Be part of a growing team committed to excellence and guest satisfaction
  • Opportunities for growth and year-round employment
  • Staff discounts on food and stays
  • A positive and supportive work environment where your contributions matter

If you’re looking to be part of something truly special and love the idea of welcoming people to Newfoundland’s most beautiful coastline, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today and help us create unforgettable guest experiences, one clean cottage at a time.
