The Spa Supervisor at the Pacific Mist Spa is responsible for training, protocols, and service quality pertaining to our high standards and quality reputation. Through careful team member selection, advanced techniques, extensive training, positive reinforcement and quality products, we aim to offer a memorable, relaxing, calming experience to each guest with their spa experience.

Supportive programs, coaching, and clear expectations are essential for the execution of unparallel guest experiences. We seek out individuals who are compassionate team players to support a positive and healthy work environment by maintaining high professional and serene standards.

At Kingfisher, we operate as a team and are looking for the right people to complement our family.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Act as a positive role model for the entire Spa team and lead by example with guest service excellence
  • Lead by example daily, establishing and setting the standards for outstanding guest experiences during check in/out, handling and organization at front desk
  • Set standards to exceed guest expectation to assure Wow factor service and repeat guests
  • Reinforce positive aspects of position to improve morale at all times
  • Manager on duty in absence of Spa Manager; support team during guest concerns
  • Daily interaction with the entire Spa Team ensuring positive morale and work environment
  • Schedule adjustments in the event of illness, staff shortages.
  • Assistance in receiving and entering retail orders and other tasks to ensure smooth flow of front desk and retail area
  • Assistance in retail inventory counts
  • Training of new and existing Spa Support Team Members in operational functions and retail selling

Education & Qualifications:

  • Possess a positive attitude, passionate about providing great guest experiences and works well within a team
  • Must have strong decision making skills, be a proactive problem solver and be successful in conflict resolution
  • Effective management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to nurture a good working relationship with other departments
  • Active listener
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in a supervisory role
  • Retail Management/Merchandising experience required.
  • First Aid Certification an asset.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
