Black Rock Oceanfront Resort is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our Currents Restaurant team PM shift. Set against Ucluelet’s stunning coastline, this role is perfect for someone who loves leading a team, providing excellent service, and helping create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

About Us

Located in Ucluelet on the edge of Pacific Rim National Park, Black Rock Oceanfront Resort combines rugged coastal beauty with modern comfort. Our resort offers guests a luxury West Coast experience through our oceanfront accommodations, spa, and restaurants, Big Beach Lounge and Currents. Black Rock Resort resides within the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ – Ucluelet First Nation traditional territory, of whose ancestral lands we work and play.

What this role is about:

  • Supervising and coaching restaurant staff to deliver outstanding service
  • Supporting day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening, closing, and system management
  • Assisting with beverage programs and helping staff recommend and upsell menu items
  • Maintaining a welcoming, safe, and polished dining environment
  • Collaborating with Culinary and Front of House teams to ensure top-quality service
  • Collecting feedback to continually improve guest and team experiences

Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience in hospitality leadership or supervisory roles
  • 2+ years serving experience, with beverage knowledge
  • Serving It Right certification required; FoodSafe or formal hospitality education is an asset
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs and manage a fast-paced environment
