Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Dragline Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating large-scale dragline equipment used in extracting aggregates. This role requires a strong understanding of machinery operation, safety protocols, and site coordination to ensure efficient and effective project completion.

Duties

  • Operate dragline machinery to excavate materials in accordance with project specifications.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors and other operators to execute excavation plans efficiently.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with setup and calibration of equipment before operation begins.
  • Maintain detailed logs of operations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to environmental regulations and company policies during operations.

Skills

  • Valid Mobile Crane Operator Trade Code 339A Certification
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
  • Experience in construction, oil & gas industries, or related heavy machinery operations.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards relevant to heavy equipment operation.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments and follow detailed instructions.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors. Candidates should possess relevant experience or training in Dragline operations, or related fields to succeed in this role.

Pay: $45.00-$48.00 per hour
