The impact you’ll make

As District Manager, you are the senior retail leader responsible for driving the performance, culture, and growth of an entire district. You build exceptional leaders, create high-performing teams, and ensure every store consistently delivers an outstanding customer experience while achieving sustainable business results. Through strategic leadership, talent development, and cross-functional partnership, you shape the future of the La Senza brand.

What you’ll do

· Lead a district of stores to achieve or exceed sales, profitability, customer experience, and operational performance goals.

· Develop, coach, and inspire Store Managers to become confident, high-performing leaders who build engaged and successful teams.

· Foster a culture that celebrates confidence, inclusion, accountability, and exceptional customer service across every store.

· Own the talent strategy for your district, including recruitment, succession planning, onboarding, leadership development, performance management, and retention.

· Conduct regular store visits to assess business performance, identify opportunities, and provide in-the-moment coaching to leaders and associates.

· Analyze business trends, KPIs, customer insights, and financial results to develop actionable district strategies that drive sustainable growth.

· Partner with Store Managers to create SMART action plans that improve sales, productivity, customer experience, and associate engagement.

· Ensure stores consistently execute company merchandising standards, visual presentations, promotions, floor sets, replenishment, and inventory strategies.

· Monitor payroll, controllable expenses, and labour productivity to ensure financial targets are achieved.

· Lead succession planning by identifying, developing, and preparing future leaders within the district.

· Partner with Human Resources to effectively manage associate relations, investigations, performance management, accommodations, and policy interpretation.

· Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations, Merchandising, Planning, Inventory, Marketing, Finance, Asset Protection, and Human Resources to achieve business objectives.

· Champion loss prevention initiatives and inventory accuracy while creating a culture of accountability and operational discipline.

· Ensure all stores consistently comply with company policies, procedures, employment standards, health and safety legislation, and all regulatory requirements.

· Lead district meetings and facilitate consistent communication to ensure alignment on company priorities, initiatives, and best practices.

· Build strong relationships with landlords, community partners, and internal stakeholders that positively represent the La Senza brand.

What you bring

· 5+ years of multi-unit retail leadership experience, preferably within a specialty retail or fashion environment.

· Proven success leading multiple high-performing retail locations while consistently delivering sales and profitability results.

· Exceptional leadership and coaching skills with a passion for developing future leaders.

· Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies.

· Demonstrated experience recruiting, developing, retaining, and succession planning top talent.

· Excellent communication, influencing, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.

· Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives while thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a customer-first mindset.

· Proficiency with retail technology and business systems (ADP, Zipline, Microsoft Office, reporting platforms).

· Flexibility to travel extensively throughout the district and work evenings and weekends as business needs require.

· Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly.

How we’ll support you

· The salary range for this position is $100,000–$130,000 CAD annually, based on experience and qualifications, plus comprehensive benefits.

· 50% employee discount—share the confidence with your wardrobe.

· Ongoing leadership development, coaching, and career advancement opportunities.

· Recognition programs and a values-driven culture where your voice matters.

Our leadership DNA (how we show up)

· Inspire & include: Recognize wins, seek diverse perspectives, and build high-performing teams.

· Own the outcome: Lead with operational excellence, customer obsession, and a bias for action. Create a disciplined culture focused on flawless execution and strong customer connection.

· Stay curious: Coach with humility, learn fast, and adapt with resilience.

· Lead safely: Demonstrate accountability for a safe working environment and model company policies. Use performance tools to manage talent and address underperformance with speed and purpose.
