Biomedical Engineering Technologist
Government of Nunavut Allied Health Talent Roster
Future Contract, Travel & Temporary Opportunities
About the Opportunity
IntelliStaff is currently seeking qualified Biomedical Engineering Technologist professionals interested in being considered for future opportunities supporting healthcare delivery throughout Nunavut.

The Government of Nunavut is establishing a roster of qualified Allied Health Professionals who may be engaged on an as-needed basis to support healthcare services across the territory.

This is not a specific job opening. Rather, we are identifying professionals who wish to be considered for future assignments as opportunities arise.

Assignments may range from short-term coverage requirements to longer-term placements depending on operational needs.

Role Overview
Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair medical equipment to support safe and effective healthcare delivery.

Potential Work Locations

  • Iqaluit
  • Rankin Inlet
  • Cambridge Bay
  • Other Nunavut Communities

Qualifications

  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Current professional registration where applicable
  • Relevant education and training required for the profession
  • Clinical or healthcare experience related to the role
  • Northern, rural, remote, Indigenous, or fly-in community experience considered an asset

Compensation & Travel
The Government of Nunavut utilizes a competitive procurement process and multiple vendors are expected to participate.

Professional rates vary based on qualifications, experience, assignment location, and assignment duration.

Travel to and from Nunavut, accommodations, approved travel expenses, and travel-related per diems are generally managed separately from professional fees.
