Full job description

About ReClick

ReClick is a boutique performance marketing agency based in Montreal. We run Google Ads for lead generation and ecommerce clients across North America, and we treat ads, landing pages and conversion tracking as one system. We're small on purpose: every client gets senior people, and every number we report ties back to leads and revenue.

About the role

You'll be our first in-house SEO, and you'll own it end to end. No SEO team behind you, no account manager in between. You set the strategy, ship the fixes, write the content, and report on what it did for the pipeline.

You'll own SEO for our client accounts, for ReClick's own site, and for new clients as we grow the service. Over time, that can include landing pages and CRO too.

This is a remote role. You'll work directly with our founder and sit in client strategy sessions as part of the team, not as a vendor.

What you'll own

  • Strategy and prioritization. Decide what's worth doing. We'd rather see three high-impact moves a month than forty low-impact tasks. You rate your own work by expected impact and tell us when something isn't worth the effort.
  • Content that drives leads. Case studies, service pages and articles that show what our clients actually do and bring in the right buyers. You write it yourself, and you hold it to a high bar. Original content, not keyword filler.
  • Site structure. Build clear service page architecture, internal linking and navigation that help both search engines and buyers find what they need.
  • Technical SEO, hands on. Schema, speed and Core Web Vitals, redirects, canonicals, indexing, and visibility in AI search. You make the change in the CMS yourself.
  • Reporting on leads. Search Console and GA4 are the starting point. You'll tie organic traffic to form fills and pipeline in the CRM, and report on that. Task counts and clicks aren't the scoreboard.
  • Working with the team. Collaborate with client marketing teams on content and with our Google Ads team so paid and organic learn from each other.
  • Landing pages and CRO, as you grow into it. We build and test landing pages for paid traffic. If you have build and testing skills, this becomes part of your role over time. If you don't yet, we'll teach it.

What you need

  • You've grown organic leads for a site you owned end to end, and you can show us: Search Console before and after, the pages you built, what moved.
  • You ship technical SEO yourself in a CMS: schema, speed, redirects, canonicals, indexing.
  • You plan content against business outcomes and write it yourself, clearly and with substance.
  • You can explain what you did and why, in plain language.
  • You live in the Montreal area.

Nice to have

  • Landing page builds and A/B testing
  • GTM, GA4 and form tracking setup
  • Agency experience across several clients at once
  • B2B or lead generation sites
  • You already use AI tools like Claude in your daily work

Who we're looking for

A builder who knows SEO, not an SEO who manages builders. You've run your own sites or side projects, you make changes yourself instead of filing tickets, and you can tell us what broke and what you did about it. You think about leads and revenue, not rankings for their own sake. You run with things without being chased, ask when you're stuck, and tell us when we're wrong.

How to apply

Answer the screening questions and include a link to a two-minute screen recording (Loom or similar) walking through one site you worked on. Show us what it looked like when you started, the change that moved the numbers most and how you know, and something that didn't work. We read every answer. Short and specific beats long and polished. Applications without the video won't be reviewed.

Logistics

  • Full-time, T4 employee (Canada)
  • Fully remote, Montreal-based
  • No benefits package

Application question(s):

  • Paste the URL of a page you personally built or rewrote that now ranks. What search query does it rank for, roughly what position, and what did you change to get it there?
  • What's one piece of common SEO advice you've tested and found to be wrong or overrated? What happened when you tried it? (3 sentences max)
  • Describe a mistake you made on a site that cost traffic. What broke, how did you notice, and how long did it take to fix? (3 sentences max)
  • What have you built or grown that nobody asked you to? Include a link.
  • Link to your two-minute video walkthrough.
