About PakFactory

PakFactory is North America’s leading provider of custom packaging solutions, serving premium brands across multiple industries. We work with a global network of vendors and manufacturers to deliver high-quality packaging through strong execution, efficient systems, and close cross-team collaboration.

Where imagination meets execution

There’s a gap between what a brand imagines for its packaging and what most suppliers can actually deliver. PakFactory lives in that gap — building the platform, the manufacturing network, and the operational discipline that turn ambitious ideas into rigid boxes, magnetic closures, and premium finishes that arrive exactly as promised, at scale.

Closing that gap is hard, detailed, cross-functional work. A website ships. A new internal tool goes live. A color comes out right on every run, from every supplier. Margins hold on a complex custom order. Each of these is a problem someone has to own — from the messy, undefined start all the way to a working solution that stays fixed.

That someone is you.

This is the role for a builder who’s energized by ambiguity — someone who can move from a CMS build in the morning, to a marketing content calendar at noon, to a manufacturing color-matching problem in the afternoon, and bring the same structured ownership to all three. You’ll work directly alongside our CEO as the execution engine behind the company’s priorities: not tracking projects from a spreadsheet, but getting into the work, diagnosing what’s actually broken, and shipping the fix.

We’re a tight-knit team on a deliberate path from a design-led service business to a packaging platform at scale. The gaps you’ll close are the operational infrastructure that path is built on. If you’re the kind of person who sees something broken and can’t not fix it — who wants the satisfaction of leaving behind a process that works long after you’ve moved on to the next thing — this is a rare seat.

You won’t find a finished playbook here. You’ll be writing it.

What you’ll own

You’ll run a portfolio of very different projects in parallel. They share one motion: take a gap, define it, own it end-to-end, ship the fix, and make it durable.

Platform & software delivery

  • Websites: Drive website development projects from requirements to launch
  • Content management: Manage CMS (Sanity) development and content-model work alongside our developers
  • Internal tools: Coordinate internal applications that power ordering, production, and logistics
  • Specs & delivery: Translate business needs into clear specs and keep scope, timeline, and quality on track — no coding required, but you understand how software gets built

Marketing & content operations

  • Content calendar: Own the content calendar and run marketing activities as projects with clear owners and deadlines
  • Content ops: Keep content operations moving on schedule across channels, coordinating marketing, design, and content

Operations problem-solving

  • Real gaps: Diagnose and fix operational gaps end-to-end — for example, color-matching consistency across our supplier network, or a margin-control mechanism for complex custom orders
  • Durable fixes: Get to root cause, design the fix, implement it, and leave behind a process and the checks that keep it working
  • Facilitation: Facilitate across functions and suppliers to turn a recurring pain point into a solved, owned system

Product management assistance (~20%)

  • Product assist: Support the CEO and product direction with requirements, prioritization, backlog grooming, and light roadmap work

You’re a fit if you

  • Have run both technical/software projects and operational/process projects — and can point to specific things you owned end-to-end
  • Take an undefined problem and drive it to a working solution without waiting for a playbook
  • Communicate crisply with developers, designers, marketers, and suppliers — adjusting register for each
  • Can hold 5–8 live projects across very different domains without dropping any
  • Are analytical by instinct — you find where a process leaks before you reach for a tool
  • Thrive in a scrappy, fast-moving environment and like being close to the CEO’s priorities

What we’re looking for

Must-have

  • 3–6 years in project / program management, operations, consulting, or a chief-of-staff-style role
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of ambiguous problems (be ready to walk us through specifics)
  • Comfort coordinating software development — specs, scope, sprints — even if you don’t code
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills

Nice-to-have

  • Exposure to CMS or web projects (Sanity, headless CMS, or similar)
  • Manufacturing, supply chain, or quality-control familiarity — color management, costing, or margin control a strong plus
  • Marketing operations or content-calendar experience
  • Product management exposure
