The Senior Manager, Clinical Education, is responsible for leading the strategy, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of Kardium’s Mapping Specialist training program. This role combines deep electrophysiology expertise, educational leadership, and people leadership to build a high-performing clinical education organization that develops industry-leading, clinically proficient field personnel.
The Senior Manager, Clinical Education will build, lead and mentor a team of Clinical Trainers responsible for onboarding and developing Mapping Specialists to support Kardium’s mapping and ablation system in electrophysiology labs across the US and globally. This individual will partner closely with the Field Team, Sales, Engineering and Product Management to align education programs with evolving clinical practices, product capabilities, and business priorities.
Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates with more or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.
As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium’s stock option plan.
Total cash – the total cash we’ve listed for this position includes a base salary, plus a contribution to a Retirement Savings plan to help support your financial goals.
Comprehensive medical & dental coverage – for all permanent employees – effective as of Day 1, with no waiting period.

- Develop and execute the clinical education strategy for Mapping Specialists.

- Establish standardized onboarding, competency, certification, and continuing education programs for Mapping Specialists.
- Ensure clinical training content reflects current clinical best practices, product capabilities, and optimal workflows.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through performance metrics, feedback, and learner outcomes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in electrophysiology procedures, mapping technologies, and clinical workflows.
- Partner with Field Team, Sales, Engineering and Product Management to identify educational needs and support business objectives.
- Support product launches and new technology introductions through effective training and education programs.
- Ensure clinical training programs comply with applicable quality system requirements, policies, and regulations.

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, nursing, life sciences, or a related discipline required.
- 3+ years of experience as an EP Mapping Specialist or comparable field-based clinical role.
- 4+ of leadership experience, including leading, mentoring, or developing teams.
- 7+ years of experience in electrophysiology, cardiac rhythm management, or related cardiovascular specialties.
- Strong understanding of electrophysiology diagnostic and ablation procedures, mapping technologies, and clinical workflows.
- Demonstrated success developing and delivering clinical or technical education programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel internationally as required to support training programs and team development.
- Experience leading clinical education, field training, physician training, or professional education teams within a medical device organization preferred.
- Experience supporting commercial launches and organizational scaling.
- Clinical Trial experience desirable.
