We are welcoming another RCC to join our team at AVERY THERAPY CENTRE. Our practice is grounded in trauma informed, anti-oppressive, and strengths based approaches and we welcome people from all backgrounds and experiences.

We’re hoping to find someone who has training in trauma-informed practice and somatic modalities. The position is flexible and this role is best suited for someone who is building their caseload and seeking part-time hours. We're looking for someone who is available for virtual AND in-person sessions at our office with open availability to take on a caseload of 10-15 clients per week.

We are a counselling clinic located in Downtown Vancouver. Our team consists of Registered Clinical Counsellors with a focus on overall holistic wellbeing. Our approach helps you achieve better self-understanding, self-awareness, and clarity. This may allow you to see your challenges from a more empowering perspective. Our mission is to facilitate healing that is trauma informed, anti-oppressive, and strengths based.

Our therapists have lived experience that has shaped and influenced their counselling philosophies. Our intention is to ensure healing is made possible by providing clients with skills rooted in scientific research and delivered in a respectful and collaborative manner. We understand that counselling can be a confusing and intimidating process which is why we will work with our clients in creating a treatment approach that is gentle, caring, and compassionate.

Requirements (please only apply if you meet these criteria):

· Good standing and registration with the BCACC

· Master’s degree in counselling psychology

· Experience working with BIPOC and queer communities

· Ability to conduct both online therapy AND in-person sessions

· Flexible schedule

It would be considered an asset if you have:

· Specialization or training on 1 or more modalities

· Previous private practice and/or JaneApp experience
