Strong Referral Stream | Relational & Attachment-Focused Work | Supportive, Values-Led Virtual Team

Follow application steps below please!

Are you a relationally oriented therapist looking for a virtual practice where you can do meaningful clinical work, feel supported behind the scenes, and be part of a grounded, collaborative team?

Gather & Ground Wellness is a growing virtual counselling practice based in Vancouver, BC. Our clinicians are offered strong referrals, thoughtful administrative systems, and a leadership team that values connection, integrity, and sustainable practice. We are a modernized therapy clinic becoming known within the Vancouver community for relational, attachment-focused work.

As referrals continue to grow, we are most aligned with clinicians who are seeking stability and professional continuity rather than a short-term or transitional role. The right candidate is someone who can handle a consistent referral stream.

Who This Role Is Best For

You will likely thrive here if you:

  • Enjoy working with relationship patterns, attachment, and trauma
  • Are comfortable holding relational depth (with individuals and/or couples)
  • Value autonomy with support (not micromanagement, not isolation)
  • Appreciate flexibility and consistency
  • Are seeking a practice where clinicians are respected as whole humans
  • Want to grow within a virtual model rather than using it as a short-term stop
  • Are open to feedback and the ongoing evolution of your therapy skills.
  • Are interested in further specialized training.

What This Role May Not Be a Fit For

  • Clinicians seeking a short-term or highly casual caseload
  • Those looking for a temporary placement while transitioning
  • Therapists who are not comfortable with feedback or ongoing professional growth
  • Those not interested in participating in team connection both virtually and in person
  • Someone who does primarily non-directive therapy (this doesn't align with our client base).

Client Focus Areas

Our client population commonly presents with:

  • Couples & Marriage challenges
  • Attachment challenges
  • Trauma and relational wounds
  • Anxiety, life transitions, and low self-worth
  • Grief & Loss
  • Parenting challenges
  • Divorce & Separation
  • Intimacy challenges and desire discrepancies

Time Commitment & Structure

  • Minimum 15 clinical hours per week, with additional consult times to offer.
  • Either 3 evenings available (until 7pm) or two evenings and one weekend day is required to meet client demand
  • Fully virtual role (clients primarily located in BC)
  • Contract-based position with flexibility and autonomy

This role is best suited for clinicians who want consistency and growth within a flexible framework.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related human services field
  • Registered or eligible for registration as RCC or MSW
  • In good standing with BCACC or equivalent regulatory body
  • Training in one or more evidence-based modalities (e.g., EMDR, EFT, CBT, Somatic, Family Systems, Narrative)
  • Comfort working virtually and using modern practice tools (Jane, Google Workspace, Slack)
  • Based in the Greater Vancouver area (preferred, to support in-person team connection)

Compensation

  • 60% split to contractor / 40% to clinic
  • Competitive session rates aligned with market standards
  • All credit card processing fees covered by the clinic

What We Provide

We intentionally remove as much administrative burden as possible so clinicians can focus on clinical work:

  • Dedicated administrative support (referrals, billing, failed payments, no-show follow-ups)
  • Jane App subscription (booking, billing, video, reports)
  • SEO, Google Ads, and marketing support aligned with your offerings
  • Curated clinician bio with SEO strategy embedded
  • G&G email address, phone line, and branded materials
  • Access to established clinical forms, policies, and procedures
  • Monthly team meetings and peer consultation
  • In-house training opportunities and clinical resources
  • In-person team socials 2–3 times per year (for Vancouver-based clinicians)
  • A collaborative, respectful, and grounded team culture
  • Referrals are centrally managed and aligned with your scope, availability, and clinical interests.

Contract Details

  • Initial 6-month contract, with strong potential for renewal if it mutually feels like the right fit (then up to 1 year contract)
  • Designed for clinicians interested in building continuity and longevity within the practice
