Full job description

Part time position now available for an Optometric Receptionist/Technician required in busy downtown Lethbridge optometry clinic as of Sept 1, 2026. Weekly schedule would consist of Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.. Seeking qualified candidates with experience in:

  • operation of fundus camera and Zeiss Cirrus OCT
  • utilizing Visual Eyes optometric software
  • triaging common ocular conditions over the phone
  • training patients for first time contact lens wear
  • operation of POS (Debit/Credit Card) machine
  • extending courtesy to patients both in person and on the phone
  • capacity to multitask efficiently and cheerfully in a close knit team environment

Salary will commence at the negotiated rate upon start of on the job training/orientation. Candidates with experience in an optometric clinic will be given highest consideration, more so if they have experience using Visual Eyes

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
