Full job description

Navigate Complexities. Create Change. Together. This is our purpose at CUPS.

Our unique integrated approach to care empowers people to work holistically to create and achieve goals that support their well-being and builds readiness to navigate and access support in the community. As a formative presence, we work together to build better systems and a stronger community.

Clients depend on us, supporters trust us, and partners count on our collaboration. We do not take this responsibility lightly – we are accountable for our words, our actions, our relationships, and most importantly, ourselves. Through a compassionate lens, we afford every person dignity in their interactions with us. We proactively seek opportunities for continuous learning with open minds and transformative spirits. Through our culture, rooted in our values, we will achieve our purpose and ambition.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Licensed Practitioner Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team providing trauma informed nursing & participant support services to vulnerable Calgarians with complex health and social needs. As part of a multidisciplinary, intensive case management team, you will support participants transitioning from acute care to community through advocating for the dignity and voice of participants within the health and social service systems.

You embody a strength-based and client-centered approach, demonstrating openness, non-judgment, and a firm belief in equitable care for all. You possess a deep understanding of the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and their long-lasting effects on health and well-being and recognize that behaviours often stem from unmet needs. You stay focused on providing consistent support, regardless of how individuals present themselves while navigating their journey to well-being. You also champion collaboration, continuous learning, accountability, and dignity—core values we uphold at CUPS.
