Full-Time Dental Treatment Coordinator / Dental Receptionist

About Us:

We are a privately owned dental clinic seeking a motivated, professional, and personable full-time Treatment Coordinator/Dental Receptionist to join our team.

Our practice offers comprehensive dental services including endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, surgical extractions, sedation, and implant dentistry. We are committed to delivering outstanding patient care and exceptional customer service in a warm, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

This is a hybrid role combining front desk reception responsibilities with treatment coordination. The position requires 2 evenings per week and 2 Saturdays per month.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk & Administrative Duties:

  • Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth
  • Schedule appointments
  • Answer and respond to phone calls and emails
  • Process payments and accurately enter financial information
  • Manage recall and follow-up calls for overdue treatment
  • Maintain patient records, filing, scanning, and general administrative tasks

Treatment Coordination Duties:

  • Present treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients
  • Explain procedures, timelines, and financial arrangements
  • Support case acceptance through strong communication and patient education
  • Coordinate scheduling for complex or multi-visit treatments

What We’re Looking For:

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with dental terminology, the ODA fee guide, and dental treatment processes
  • Comfortable discussing treatment plans and financial options
  • Ability to work 2 evenings per week and 2 Saturdays per month
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Experience with Dentrix and Dexis software is an asset (training can be provided)
