Cardiac Sonographer (Part-Time)
Location: Cambridge
Organization: Heart and Health Clinic

Position Overview
Heart and Health Clinic is seeking a skilled and motivated Cardiac Sonographer to join our growing outpatient cardiology team in Cambridge. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to transition into full-time for candidates who are open to supporting additional clinic locations within our network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms in accordance with clinic protocols and accreditation standards
  • Ensure accurate image acquisition and preliminary reporting for physician interpretation
  • Maintain proper documentation and workflow within EMR systems
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and clinic staff to support efficient patient care
  • Adhere to all infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program
  • Active registration in good standing (e.g., Sonography Canada / ARDMS preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in performing and optimizing cardiac imaging independently
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment
