About the Role:

The Dish Washer plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the kitchen and dining areas within a food service establishment. This position ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to support smooth kitchen operations and uphold health and safety regulations. The role requires efficiency and attention to detail to manage high volumes of dishware during peak hours while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The Dish Washer collaborates closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean items, contributing to overall customer satisfaction. Ultimately, this position supports the operational flow of the kitchen, enabling chefs and servers to perform their duties effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards in a food service setting.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen support role.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning tasks as needed, such as wiping down surfaces and disposing of waste.
  • Monitor dishwashing supplies and report inventory needs to management to ensure continuous operation.
