TCS (Thompson Community Services) is seeking Community Support Workers for our Salmon Arm location, who want to make a difference. This is shiftwork, and applicants must be available to work both weekdays and weekends, and all shifts (days, afternoons, and overnights).

Duties include:

· Providing care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, and assisting in their developmental growth and success;

· Developing and participating in community activities and opportunities to enhance inclusion and acceptance;

· Ensuring a safe environment for everyone;

· Participating and contributing in the planning process related to the individual’s Personal Life Plan (PLP); and

· Assisting with maintaining and building effective relationships.

Experience in providing care and support to individuals in community is preferred; however, all applicants are welcome.

Possessing a valid Driver's license and a personal vehicle is required.
