Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. This role involves overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in construction management, estimating, and project coordination, with proficiency in industry-standard software tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse construction projects while advancing your career in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project estimates by analyzing blueprints, schematics, and construction documents using software such as HeavyBid and Construction estimating tools
  • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project planning
  • Utilize construction management software like ProCore, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, and Bluebeam for project scheduling, tracking, and documentation
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to establish project timelines and budgets
  • Manage project scope, schedule, resources, and risks to ensure successful delivery
  • Prepare bid proposals and assist in contract negotiations
  • Monitor project progress through regular site visits and meetings; adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes throughout all phases of the project
  • Maintain detailed records of project activities, costs, and changes for reporting purposes

Skills

  • Strong proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction documentation
  • Experience with construction estimating software such as HeavyBid or similar tools
  • Familiarity with industry-standard construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D
  • Knowledge of construction processes, scheduling techniques, and project management principles
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience in civil or heavy construction projects is preferred but not mandatory
