Full job description
Are you looking for a change, and looking to do something bold? Teach English in Korea!
Receive great pay and benefits to live and work abroad comfortably. Due to the low tax rate cost of living, English teachers are able to save 20-30% of their income. And don’t worry- the only language you will need to speak is English. Just be ready to have an experience of a lifetime in Asia with fellow co-workers just like you. All you need is passion for learning, and compassion for students!
No prior teaching experience is required. You will receive training upon relocation, and be fully prepared to teach English as a Foreign Language (EFL). Many teachers spend free time exploring Korea and taking weekend trips to Japan, China, and Vietnam!
REQUIREMENTS:
● 4-year Bachelor's degree
● Citizenship from the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, NZ, or South Africa
● Commitment to a one-year contract
● A clear background check
● ESL/EFL/TEFL/TESOL experience is not required, but all teaching experience is welcome!

PAY AND BENEFITS:
● Monthly pay of 2,500,000 KRW to 4,000,000 KRW ***
● Free Furnished Housing OR Housing Security Deposit + Higher Pay
● Airfare reimbursement up to 1,200,000 KRW

- I understand that if accepted for the position, I will need to undergo a drug test in South Korea that tests for illicit substances including marijuana (which is illegal in South Korea). I confirm that I am not a user of marijuana or any other illicit substances.
- I understand that moving to South Korea will incur initial start up costs (including but not limited to housing, daily necessities, etc.) until I receive my first pay. This could range anywhere from $1,500 to $2,000 USD. I confirm that I will have sufficient funds until my first pay.
- I understand that to be employed as an English language instructor in South Korea, I must have completed at least 6 years of formal English education (prior to post secondary education) in an English-speaking country (US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa). If I was born in a non-English speaking country, I must provide proof of education and/or immigration documents to satisfy the demands of the Korean Immigration Office to obtain an E-2 teaching visa.
- I confirm that I am a fluent English speaker with a passport from the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa (required by Korean immigration) and with a minimum of a bachelors degree from an accredited university from one of the aforementioned countries.
