Title of the position: Senior Office Administrator (NOC 13100).

Job duties:
● Manage office operations to ensure the clinic is operating properly and efficiently.
● Manage staff scheduling.
● Assist with hiring and onboarding new staff.
● Manage billing for services provided to patients and processing dental claims to insurance.
● Handle office accounts and accounts receivable, including collections.
● Process payments and balance accounts.
● Oversee office inventory and order supplies.
● Manage and clear all office bills and invoices.
● Coordinate and oversee appointments for administrative and clinical teams.
● Oversee health and safety management and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
● Perform daily infection control and sterilization procedures.
● Conduct regular maintenance and upkeep of dental equipment.
● Book patient appointments.
● Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure efficient patient care is provided.

Terms of employment:
Permanent and full-time.
The language of work: English.
Wage: $36.10 per hour.

Skills requirements:
● Required education:
○ Completion of secondary school (high school) is required.
○ A university degree or college diploma in business or office administration or a closely related field is required.
○ A clinical diploma in either a medical or dental field would be an asset but is not required.

● Required work experience and skills:
● 1 to 2 years of relevant, related experience.
● Knowledgeable concerning Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as TELUS, ACCURO, OSCAR and CIS.
● Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
● Strong organizational skills.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Substantial customer service experience.
● Strong interpersonal skills.
● Strong problem solving skills.
● Proven ability to multi-task and stay organized in a busy work environment.
● Emergency First Aid and CPR training.

Pay: Up to $36.10 per hour
