CIRA's premier event series, Canadians Connected, is coming to Kitchener/Waterloo on Nov 12—and we need someone to bring our mascot, Morty the Moose, to life!

Morty is our friendly face at events, spreading smiles, posing for photos and bringing a little extra antler-tainment to the evening.

• When: Nov 12, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. (event starts at 6 p.m.)
• Where: Catalyst Commons, Glasgow Hall, 137 Glasgow St., Kitchener, ON
• Pay: $25/hr
• Fit check: we ask that applicants be between 5’5” and 5’8”

No mascot experience required—just energy & enthusiasm! If you’re looking for a fun gig where you get to make people smile, this is it.

Responsibilities:

• Wear the provided Morty mascot costume and interact with event attendees in a fun, friendly and engaging way.
• Pose for photos with guests and help create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Move throughout the event space to engage with attendees and encourage participation.
• Work with the CIRA event team to coordinate appearances and take breaks as needed.
