What You'll Do


  • Support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations
  • Coordinate with the restaurant management team on supply ordering, daily tasks, and kitchen priorities
  • Monitor inventory levels and complete biweekly inventory assessments in coordination with the Head Chef
  • Maintain FIFO practices, dating and organization systems, cleaning schedules, and stock levels
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and maintained to the highest standards
  • Collaborate with Head Chef and Creative Director on menu development
  • Coach, guide, and support the development of junior kitchen team members
  • Communicate performance, training, and development matters on a regular basis
  • Promote clear communication and help maintain a safe, respectful, and positive working environment


What You'll Need


  • Previous experience in a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, Lead Line Cook, or similar kitchen leadership role
  • Strong culinary skills and the ability to support daily kitchen operations
  • Experience coaching, guiding, and supporting junior kitchen team members
  • Strong understanding of food safety, FIFO practices, inventory control, and kitchen organization
  • Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Food Handler Certificate
  • Authorization to work in Canada
  • An interest in learning about and contributing to Linny’s steakhouse and deli-inspired menu

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
