Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food orders and transactions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests by maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions.
  • Handle cash and credit card payments, ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
  • Prepare food items as needed, following proper food handling and safety protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Assist in food preparation and ensure all items are stocked and ready for service.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service role preferred, particularly in food service.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures.
  • Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
  • Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the kitchen or dining area.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
