Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Staff/Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a lively, welcoming environment for our customers. In this role, you'll be the heart of our food service operation—preparing delicious meals, managing transactions efficiently through our Micros POS system, and ensuring every guest has a memorable experience. Your multitasking skills and dedication to food safety will keep the kitchen running smoothly while delivering exceptional customer service. About Us:
Touhenboku Ramen is a popular Toronto-based ramen shop known for its authentic Japanese flavours, house-made noodles, and warm, welcoming service. We’re looking for reliable, hardworking, and passionate kitchen staff to join our Queen Street location.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep (cutting, portioning, marinating, etc.)
  • Cook and assemble ramen dishes and side items according to company standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
  • Wash dishes and ensure all kitchen tools are properly sanitized
  • Follow food safety procedures and hygiene standards
  • Support chefs and team during busy service hours
  • Receive and store deliveries properly
  • Perform opening, closing, and cleaning duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Kitchen experience preferred but not required (training provided)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude, team player, and strong work ethic
  • Able to lift 25–40 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Japanese or Chinese speaking
