Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Pastry Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a professional kitchen environment, specializing in baking and pastry arts. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in food preparation, cake decorating, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role is perfect for individuals eager to grow their expertise within the food industry and contribute to creating beautiful and delicious desserts for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and production of cakes and desserts.
  • Follow recipes and production schedules accurately.
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Support senior Pastry chefs in creating new recipes and daily kitchen tasks.

Skills

  • Basic knowledge of baking and pastry techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Ability to speak Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an asset
  • Good time management and ability to work under pressure
