Super Crunch Tanghulu Inc. specializes in crafting freshly made candy fruit (Tanghulu) using the highest-quality ingredients. We currently operate 4 retail locations, soon to be 5 and over 100 pop-up events at festivals across Canada each year. Our commitment to quality and freshness provides a unique and enjoyable experience for every customer who walks through our doors. We aim to bring a vibrant, timeless tradition of candied fruit to modern palates, inspired by the age-old Chinese street food.

We're now looking for Sales Associate and Festival Help for the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE). Join us as we continue our journey to becoming Canada's leading fresh-fruit dessert brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service while taking sales orders.
  • Interact with customers and provide a positive experience.
  • Maintain exceptional quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure orders are processed efficiently.
  • Maintain an organized and presentable work environment.
  • Cleaning work station, containers, and food prep tools.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist with setup and teardown of the event booth.
  • Inform supervisor of inventory shortage and refill requirements.
  • Assisting chefs with minor food preparations.

Requirements:

  • Work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Have the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Successful candidates must be able and willing to travel to festival locations for the duration of their contract.
  • Basic math skills, including retail math.
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Able to complete job responsibilities without direct supervision.
  • Demonstrate strong work ethics: responsible, reliable, and punctual.
  • Previous experience in the food industry is preferred.
  • Maintain a positive attitude throughout the entirety of their shift.
  • Go beyond what is required to achieve goals.
