Grill Cook – Brazilian BBQ (Churrasco)

Gaucho Brazilian BBQ is looking for an experienced Grill Cook with a passion for Brazilian barbecue to join our kitchen team.

If you have experience cooking over a grill, preparing high-quality meats, and working in a fast-paced restaurant, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and grill a variety of meats to company standards.
  • Cook Brazilian BBQ (Churrasco) using proper grilling techniques.
  • Monitor meat temperatures and ensure consistent quality.
  • Assist with meat preparation, seasoning, marinating, and portioning.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
  • Follow food safety and health regulations.
  • Work efficiently with the kitchen team during busy service.
  • Assist with inventory and prep as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of grill cooking experience.
  • Experience with Brazilian BBQ (Churrasco) is required.
  • Knowledge of different beef, pork, chicken, and lamb cuts.
  • Ability to cook meats to various levels of doneness.
  • Strong knife skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
