Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, organized, and passionate Child Care Centre Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a licensed Montessori child care centre. The successful candidate will provide leadership to educators, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain high-quality programming, and foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), Ministry of Education regulations, licensing requirements, and centre policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the daily operation of the child care centre, ensuring a safe, organized, and positive environment for children, families, and staff.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, mentor, and evaluate educators and support staff.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and ongoing support to staff to ensure high performance, professionalism, and continuous growth.
  • Monitor classroom practices and ensure the delivery of high-quality Montessori programming that supports children's learning, development, and well-being.
  • Welcome prospective families, conduct centre tours, and support the enrollment process.
  • Build and maintain positive, respectful, and professional relationships with children, families, staff, and community partners.

Experience

  • Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Supervisor in a licensed child care centre (MANDATORY)

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
