Protecting with Purpose. Our Shared Promise.

PRIMED Medical Products is seeking a highly capable Executive Business Partner to the President & CEO to provide high-calibre executive administrative, operational, and business support from our Edmonton head office. This is a trusted, high-impact role for someone who can anticipate needs, manage complexity, protect executive focus, and ensure follow-through on the organization’s most important priorities.

This role operates with a high degree of accountability and pace, requiring the ability to manage shifting priorities, exercise sound judgment, and maintain momentum across multiple initiatives.

Reporting directly to the incoming President & CEO, this position will play a critical role in enabling executive effectiveness, supporting enterprise priorities, and ensuring continuity through a planned leadership transition. The role requires strong business acumen, sound judgment, exceptional discretion, and the ability to operate confidently with leaders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

The following is a high‑level description of responsibilities and is not intended to be all‑inclusive.

Executive Support & Enablement

  • Act as a trusted partner to the President & CEO by driving prioritization, managing calendars and communications, and ensuring follow-through on key commitments
  • Anticipate needs, identify risks or gaps, and proactively support strategic goals and desired outcomes
  • Help ensure executive time is focused on the highest-value work aligned with corporate priorities
  • Extend the reach and effectiveness of the President & CEO through strong organization, communication, judgment, and execution
  • Translate executive priorities into clear plans, actions, communication drafts and tracked deliverables, ensuring alignment and follow-through across stakeholders

Calendar, Meetings & Executive Rhythm

  • Own and proactively manage executive calendars, including scheduling, prioritization, and protection of focus time, exercising discretion in prioritizing matters requiring the CEO’s attention
  • Support the executive operating rhythm by coordinating key meetings, leadership forums, 1:1s, and external engagements
  • Prepare agendas, briefing materials, presentations, and follow-up documentation
  • Capture decisions and action items, track commitments, and drive timely follow-through and accountability across teams

Travel, Administration & Operational Support

  • Coordinate travel, itineraries, expenses, and related logistics with accuracy and discretion
  • Manage day-to-day administrative needs, including document management, meeting setup, visitor coordination, and ad hoc executive requests
  • Support smooth execution of executive priorities by removing friction, resolving issues, and keeping work moving forward

Leadership Transition Support

  • Support planning, coordination, and follow-through related to the President & CEO transition
  • Help maintain alignment between current and future executive priorities, meetings, communications, and commitments
  • Serve as a trusted point of coordination to ensure continuity, clarity, and timely execution during the transition period

Support other executive, administrative, and operational priorities as required.

Experience & Background

  • 3+ years of progressively responsible experience supporting senior executives or working in business operations, strategy, consulting, or similarly fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with senior leadership and navigating complex, ambiguous priorities
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and driving execution across multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgment
  • Post-secondary education in business administration, commerce, or a related field is an asset; equivalent experience will be considered
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools; experience using AI tools to enhance productivity is an asset

Who You Are

  • You are proactive, resourceful, and highly organised, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
  • You exercise sound judgment and discretion, and can build trust quickly with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • You are a clear and effective communicator who can manage details without losing sight of broader priorities
  • You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment where priorities shift quickly
  • You are curious, growth-oriented, and motivated to continuously improve how work gets done
  • You bring strong initiative and the ability to operate with autonomy, while maintaining alignment with executive priorities

Key Competencies:

  • Executive judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and follow-through
  • Business acumen and practical problem solving
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Relationship management across senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Operational excellence across calendars, meetings, travel, documents, and executive workflows
  • Microsoft 365 proficiency and responsible use of AI/productivity tools
