Merritt Highway Plaza – Chevron

3999 Airport Road, Merritt, BC

Merritt Highway Plaza – Chevron is opening a brand-new Chevron gas station and 3,500 sq. ft. convenience store in Merritt. We are looking for friendly, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and professional customer service to all customers.
  • Operate cash registers and process fuel, retail, lottery, and tobacco sales.
  • Assist customers with questions, product information, and general inquiries.
  • Stock shelves, coolers, and displays while maintaining proper inventory levels.
  • Receive and organize merchandise deliveries.
  • Ensure products are properly displayed and priced.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, coffee station, washrooms, and fueling areas.
  • Monitor fuel pumps and follow all safety procedures.
  • Assist with inventory counts and store organization.
  • Follow company policies, health and safety regulations, and loss prevention procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required to support daily store operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light lifting.
  • Basic English communication skills required.
  • Previous retail, convenience store, gas station, or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Store Hours

The store operates from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, including weekends and holidays.
