Full job description

Water treatment manufacturer in Surrey, BC requires an experienced Process Engineer for their engineering group with deep understanding and experience of wastewater treatment processes, biological processes, and chemistry.

Responsibilities:

Work with engineering and sales group to define process, build designs and provide cost estimates for water and waste water plants.

Provide process design services for treatment of complex chemistries, including directing bench scale testing.

Respond to technical RFPs, build proposals for prospective projects.

Select and source appropriate equipment, raw materials and control components.

Effective organizational and time management skills in handling multiple projects, performing a variety of tasks, and meeting required deadlines.

Perform work as a project team member as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Additional experience in potable treatment design will be an asset

Other tasks may be assigned by management

Travel to customer sites may be required

Thorough knowledge of design procedures, specifications, and engineering software ..

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong organizational skills.
