Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sous Chef and Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidates will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. These roles offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to contribute to a vibrant restaurant environment and help deliver exceptional dining experiences. The Sous Chef will play a key role in supervising kitchen staff, managing food preparation, and maintaining efficient kitchen workflows. The line cook will be part of a dynamic team.

In addition to this position we seek experienced and competent Cooks with the ability to work several different stations as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes
  • Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate served
  • Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on food safety, cleanliness, and efficiency
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed in compliance with health regulations
  • Support meal preparation for all service periods, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
  • Serve as a leader in the kitchen by maintaining a positive work environment and fostering teamwork
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Uphold food safety standards at all times, including proper use of equipment and adherence to hygiene protocols

Experience

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally in a supervisory or lead role
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with the food industry standards for safety and sanitation
  • Experience with meal preparation across various cuisines and dietary requirements is preferred
  • Strong background in serving customers efficiently while maintaining high-quality food standards
  • Prior kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in food handling and safety regulations
