Chef Helper and Lodge Support

Twin Falls Lodge

Location: Northern Saskatchewan, Canada

Company: Adventure Destinations Inc (ADI)

Job Type: Full-time, seasonal

Contract Length: 4.5 months (mid-May to late September)

This is a hands-on role that works foremost as support to the Chef and kitchen operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the kitchen run smoothly, while also supporting the overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the lodge and property.

Adventure Destinations operates several northern Saskatchewan properties including Twin Falls Lodge. Stanley Mission First Nation is the closest community. We offer an intimate escape for up to 18 guests. Completely off the grid, the lodge provides a unique blend of seclusion and natural beauty with exceptional fishing and hospitality. This is a unique opportunity to experience northern Saskatchewan while being part of a small (5) dedicated team of professionals who create exceptional experiences.

This position is ideal for someone who has a diverse skill set, likes physical work, takes pride in keeping things clean and organized, loves to support and help, thrives as part of a small, close-knit team in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

Chef and Kitchen Support (primary responsibility)

  • Work closely with the Chef to ensure the kitchen is prepared and running smoothly
  • Assist with food preparation and meal setup
  • Wash dishes, maintain a clean and organized kitchen
  • Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
  • Maintain food-safe standards
  • Assist with periodic deep cleaning
  • Assist with season opening and closing tasks

Lodge Support

  • Assist in the set up and reset of dining room
  • Assist with laundry
  • Assist with cleaning and tidying of indoor and outdoor spaces
  • Support general daily lodge upkeep and presentation
  • Assist with periodic deep cleaning
  • Assist with season opening and closing tasks

  • Previous kitchen experience
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated
  • Ability to take direction and easily adapts to change
  • Pride in cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working and living in a remote environment with a small team
  • Team-oriented, positive mindset, flexible
  • Physically fit stand for extended periods, lift 50lbs, bend and reach

Required Certification: Food Safe, Serving It Right, First Aid & CPR

Compensation: competitive wage, shared tips, room and board, travel assistance, completion bonus at the end of a successful season.
