We are looking for someone who is passionate about food, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and wants to take ownership of their work. This position works directly alongside the owner and will become a key part of the daily operation.

About the Role

This is not just a line cook position.

We’re looking for someone who can confidently lead a kitchen, organize prep, maintain high standards, and help create an exceptional experience for every guest. You’ll be involved in food preparation, plating, maintaining cleanliness, inventory, and working as part of a close-knit team that genuinely cares about what we do.

A strong understanding of gluten-free food preparation—or a willingness to learn—is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily kitchen operations alongside the owner.
  • Prepare fresh breakfast, brunch, and lunch menu items.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Follow strict food safety and gluten-free protocols.
  • Assist with prep, ordering, inventory, and daily organization.
  • Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Support and mentor other team members when needed.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is

  • Experienced in a professional kitchen.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Highly organized and efficient.
  • Passionate about creating exceptional food.
  • A strong communicator and team player.
  • Proud of their work and attention to detail.
  • Looking for a long-term opportunity, not just another job.

What We Offer

  • Consistent full-time daytime hours.
  • No late nights.
  • Competitive wages based on experience.
  • Opportunity to grow within a respected local business.
  • A supportive workplace where your ideas and contributions matter.

If you’re someone who takes pride in your work, enjoys leading by example, and wants to be part of a passionate team creating exceptional gluten-free food, we’d love to hear from you.

Please apply with your resume and tell us why you’d be a great fit for Nolaa’s.
