Full job description

Full-time opportunity for a motivated individual to join our growing team. This position is for a fully certified CPA with one to three years of experience and will provide career development and training and exposure to varied areas of public accounting and industries – construction, real estate, manufacturing, food processing, retail, wholesale, and professional.

Duties and Responsibilities

Preparation of Compilation yearend files and financial statements.

Assisting in assurance engagements as a team member.

Preparation of corporate, personal, and trust income tax returns.

Analysis of investment activity.

Managing of client accounts including ongoing client support.

Supervision of junior staff.

Qualifications

Chartered Professional Accountant with one to three years of experience in the province of Ontario

Related experience in public accounting.

Sound technical skills including Canadian ASPE knowledge.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective written and interpersonal communication skills.

Good organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong work ethic.

Experience using Caseware, Taxprep, and Microsoft products considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
