Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in account reconciliation, and supporting various accounting functions using leading accounting software. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial health of our organization while working with a dynamic team. Prior experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft is highly desirable. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of corporate finance principles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and reports for management review.
  • Conduct auditing procedures to verify the integrity of financial data.
  • Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Utilize accounting software including QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial management.
  • Assist with account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities.
  • Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on financial services projects and provide insights for strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles, with familiarity in corporate finance practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, auditing, and account analysis.
  • Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and budgeting processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus but not required. This position provides an engaging environment for professionals passionate about finance and accounting operations within a supportive team setting.

Pay: $85,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
