As a Facilities Coordinator , you will play a key role in ensuring WSP workplaces across Canada are safe, functional, and well‑managed. Supporting our Facilities Management team, this role contributes directly to operational excellence, employee experience, and health and safety outcomes across multiple office locations.

Your Impact

You’ll make a difference by:
  • Overseeing, coaching, and supporting Facilities Administrative Specialists
  • Helping design and implement office policies and procedures for proactive and scheduled maintenance of all areas and equipment
  • Assisting with facility moves, restructures, and restacking activities
  • Overseeing and coordinating assigned secondary sites and, in emergency situations, supporting other locations within the region
  • Assisting with all facility‑related matters including contractors, maintenance, repairs, service interruptions, and signage
  • Attending Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings and assisting in identifying, initiating, and coordinating corrective actions to maintain office HSE standards, including serving as a management representative when appropriately trained
  • Managing and distributing ad‑hoc facility assistance requests from the business
  • Acting as liaison with building owners to communicate day‑to‑day issues such as fire drills and elevator outages
  • Overseeing, managing, and delegating security access systems and office assets including workstations, offices, lockers, and vehicle parking
  • Assisting the Facilities Manager in monitoring and managing costs to meet budget and acting as Facilities Manager in their absence
  • Tracking all employee movement within facilities
  • Working with the facilities team to maintain tidy, safe, and functional working environments
  • Ensuring adequate kitchen and lunchroom cleaning supplies are maintained
  • Managing and maintaining all company fire extinguishers and first aid kits
  • Keeping floor plans updated for onboarding, offboarding, and vacancy management

The Skills That Set You Apart

You bring:
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar facilities or workplace services role
  • Availability for weekend and overtime work, with access to a personal vehicle
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook , including document formatting and production
  • Experience working within a large organization
  • Excellent customer service skills with strong communication and relationship‑building abilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing quality service and professional work
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and collaborative approach, combined with the ability to work independently
  • Adherence to company systems, policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Commitment to confidentiality, ethical behaviour, and professional conduct

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $57,500 – $76,200
MB & ON: $52,500 – $72,300
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $52,000 – $69,000
