Full job description
Oxford College is seeking to hire a full-time experienced Admissions Advisor from within the education sector for its Scarborough campus. Successful candidates must have excellent customer service and must be outcome-oriented. The ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail is essential.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to all functions of a full-time admissions representative such as:
- Handling lead calls/enquiries
- Booking appointments and consulting with potential candidates for the college
- Recommending qualified candidates into suitable programs
- Conduct tours for all clients
- Enrolment/packaging recommended students and follow up
- Research and determine if participation in outreach events will benefit increment of student enrolments
- Establish and maintain relationships with various community members that will benefit in active promotion of the college programs
- Review and prepare appropriate marketing material to be printed and distributed within the community
- Promote Refer a Friend program
- Actively participate in Social Media
- Participate in College events
- Produce reports
- Provide marketing input
- Participate in Job fairs, trade shows, open houses and other outreach activities related to student recruitment
- Travel and visit businesses where the college programs can be actively promoted
- To be present in the colleges Graduation ceremony and share the success of the graduates
- Maintaining confidentiality of student information is of utmost priority
- All other duties as assigned
