Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Casual Server specializing in Events and Catering! In this lively role, you will be the face of exceptional guest experiences, delivering top-tier service at various events, banquets, and catering functions. Your enthusiasm and hospitality skills will help create memorable moments for our guests, ensuring smooth service and a welcoming atmosphere. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work in a vibrant environment where every day brings new connections and challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout events and catering functions
  • Set up dining areas, including table arrangements, linens, and utensils to meet event specifications
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation
  • Assist with food handling, replenishing supplies, and ensuring cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries or special requests to enhance their experience
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate service flow and ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Break down service areas after events, ensuring proper cleanup and reset for future functions

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred; familiarity with food handling and serving techniques is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach to guest interactions
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in food service environments
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between tasks, and work efficiently under pressure
  • Experience with food preparation or bartending is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Hospitality or hotel experience can be beneficial for understanding guest expectations
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role
