Bar Romy is the new casual Italian bar at the corner of Adelaide and John in Toronto’s Entertainment District. Rooted in the classics done best – Italian sandwiches, pizza, handmade pasta, and a wine list that never stops pouring – Bar Romy brings the soul of a neighbourhood Italian spot to one of the city’s most iconic intersections.

Job Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook at Bar Romy, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine. In this energetic role, you’ll be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing and cooking delicious dishes that delight our guests. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and commitment to food safety will help create a vibrant dining experience. Whether you're chopping, sautéing, or plating, you'll play a vital part in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in the food industry while working alongside talented culinary professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and cook menu items with precision and consistency
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure quality and visual appeal
