Sea Change and Shiddy’s are looking for a Booze Mover!

When our customers see a Sea Change or Shiddy’s truck pull up, they see you. As our Booze Mover, you’re the face of our brands out in the world, delivering beer, spirits and RTDs to bars, restaurants, retailers and our own taprooms. We’re looking for someone friendly, reliable and proud to represent us at every stop.

Job Title: Booze Mover (Delivery & Customer Service)
Location: Sea Change Brewing Company and Shiddy’s Distilling
Job Type: Full-time, On-site

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Customer Service (the big one)

  • Build friendly, lasting relationships with our accounts through every delivery.
  • Represent our brands professionally and positively at every stop.
  • Handle customer questions, concerns and issues on the spot, and loop in the team when needed.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, suppliers and our internal team.

Deliveries

  • Deliver orders accurately, on time and with care.
  • Help plan delivery routes with the Order Desk Administrator (we use Routific).
  • Deliver food and beverage to our taprooms.
  • Pick up RTVs (Return to Vendor) from BDL and handle other pickups as needed.
  • Take photos and video of stops and drops using a tablet.

Warehouse & Trucks

  • Pick, pack and load orders with the Warehouse Manager and Order Desk Administrator.
  • Operate a forklift (training provided).
  • Complete truck maintenance checks, keep logbooks and report vehicle issues promptly.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • A valid Alberta driver’s licence and a clean driver’s abstract (required)
  • A genuine people-person attitude and strong communication skills
  • Reliability, attention to detail and pride in doing things right
  • Ability to lift 50 to 150 pounds regularly
  • Flexibility for last-minute changes and occasional overtime
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

NICE TO HAVE (but we’ll train the right person)

  • Forklift experience
  • Experience driving larger vehicles
  • Delivery, logistics or hospitality background
  • Experience with routing software

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
