Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer experiences, managing transactions efficiently, and supporting the overall store operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for delivering excellent service. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or technology sales are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
  • Operate the POS system accurately for cash handling and transactions
  • Process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently while maintaining accuracy
  • Conduct product demos and upsell items to maximize sales opportunities
  • Provide knowledgeable assistance on products, including technology and merchandising displays
  • Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure proper cash handling procedures
  • Offer exceptional customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
  • Support inventory management through merchandising and stock replenishment
  • Uphold store policies and ensure a clean, welcoming environment at all times
  • Communicate effectively with customers using phone etiquette when necessary

Experience

  • Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
  • Multilingual or bilingual skills (English plus additional languages) are a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills required
  • Experience in technology sales or product demos is advantageous
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to upsell products through effective sales techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment while providing outstanding customer service
