Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers to drive sales. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience, promoting products, and achieving sales goals.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively.
  • Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services.
  • Utilize strong customer service skills to build rapport and foster long-term relationships with clients.
  • Process transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring all products are well-stocked and displayed.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales targets and enhance overall performance.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change.
  • Ability to sell effectively while demonstrating product knowledge.
  • Experience with specialized sales is a plus, particularly for Furniture or Home improvement Products or services.
  • Multilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging with diverse customer bases.
  • A positive attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role.

  • Furniture Sales: 2 years (preferred)
  • Interior design: 2 years (preferred)
  • sales: 3 years (required)
  • Customer service: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Serving It Right (preferred)
