Role Description

We are hiring experienced Finishing Carpenters to work on multiple projects inside our production facility. This role will be part of a team focused on modular construction. You will be responsible for the installation of doors, millwork, ceiling tile, and final finishes such as painting and caulking.

Duties:

  • Hang doors and install hardware
  • Installation of millwork
  • Final finishes of paint, caulking and ceiling tile
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate safe, quality, and efficient work is being performed and participate in inspections when given the chance
  • Maintain equipment and ensure tools are returned to job box at the end of each shift

Required Experience:

  • 2-5 years finishing carpentry experience
  • Safe skilled use of power tools
  • Exhibits and promotes a sense of urgency and excellence toward all work activities
  • Strong verbal communication
  • Flexible, willing to work long hours if required
  • able to work off ladders & scissor lifts
  • able to lift up to 50 pounds

Location:

This role is based at our 200,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Crossfield, Alberta, located 20 minutes north of Calgary. Strategically positioned near a High Load Corridor, we can transport loads up to 9 meters high to various parts of Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC, and the United States. Our employees reside in Calgary, Airdrie, and surrounding communities.
