Full job description

Position Overview:

The glazier is responsible for the installation and finishing of sealed units in vinyl, wood and aluminum framed windows. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality finishes for residential and commercial projects, including unit turnovers, renovations, and repairs within other managed properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measuring for new glass and sealed units.
  • Installing sealed units and single pane glass in frames and or windows.
  • Inspect work to ensure conformity with specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with others and other trades to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and site-specific requirements.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed. Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum 2–3 years of installing, repairing and general window knowledge.
  • Knowledge of glass replacement, window part repairs & screen making
  • Familiarity with various types of glass and application (ex: Tempered, laminated & single pane float, sealed units).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce consistent, high-quality finishes.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (occupied and vacant units).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportion is a must. Work Conditions:
  • Primarily field-based, working at multiple residential and commercial sites.
  • May require flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends depending on project timelines.
  • Must adhere to all safety and PPE requirements.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for advancement within Alberta Sound Construction & Management Ltd.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
