Position Overview

The Carpenter will be responsible for completing high-quality carpentry work on residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Complete renovations, additions, and custom build projects
  • Framing, finishing, siding, decks, windows, trimming, and general carpentry work
  • Reading and following blueprints and project specifications
  • Operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assisting with material handling, site preparation, and project cleanup
  • Ensuring all work meets building codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations
  • Working alongside tradespeople, subcontractors, and site supervisors
  • Maintaining clean and organized job sites
  • Mentoring apprentices and junior team members when required

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years carpentry experience preferred
  • Experience in renovations and additions
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Own tools for day-to-day tasks
  • Ability to work professionally with clients and team members
  • Steel toe boots and proper PPE required

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • 40 hours/week
  • Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
