Full job description

Overview
We are seeking skilled Carpenters and Carpenter Helpers to join our construction team. This role involves working on diverse projects, from residential to commercial builds, requiring a strong foundation in carpentry and related trades. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Experience with various construction techniques and tools is essential to ensure quality craftsmanship and timely project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute projects
  • Perform framing, cabinetry, siding, roofing, and finishing tasks using hand tools and power tools
  • Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and flooring installation
  • Install doors, windows, cabinets, tile, and other fixtures with precision
  • Conduct restoration work including repairs and refurbishments of existing structures
  • Operate CNC machinery when applicable and assist with manufacturing or assembly tasks
  • Apply construction painting, caulking, and sealing techniques to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal
  • Support plumbing and electrical installations as needed
  • Heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely throughout the job site
  • Follow safety protocols consistently to maintain a secure work environment

Experience

  • Prior experience in carpentry or related construction fields is preferred
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is advantageous
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, masonry, roofing, siding, flooring, tile laying, and woodworking
  • Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, cabinetry installation, restoration projects, or handyman services is a plus
  • Experience with electrical or plumbing work can be beneficial but is not mandatory
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites
